Korean BarbieQ takeover

Objective:

transform imperial bar for burning man

Location: Imperial Bar - Reno, Nevada

Attendees: 250 people for the launch party 2500+ people over 3 months

Highlights of the experience: Reno's first pop-up experience, Korean BarbieQ brought the classic BarbieQ elements with a Reno twist. The bar space was completely transformed with bold color changing lights, chopstick pendants, Barbie chandeliers, Korean movie poster wallpaper, custom leg wallpaper (Barbie legs and mannequin legs), a blonde hair wall, washed with a neon sign "I'm F*cking Perfect," a Barbie dressing room photo booth and Barbie "pool" tables. We brought the Denver team to help launch the takeover. We engaged local artisans and fabricators to create and bring the space to life. Artist Joe C Rock painted a large mural on the exterior and inside. Junkee Clothing Exchange outfitted the Barbie Dressing Room.
